Being able to navigate in PowerPoint is an important aspect of the presentation.

Navigating your way through your PowerPoint slide show can be nerve-wracking if you want your PowerPoint presentation to go well. The easiest way to go backward and forward in a presentation is to use a keyboard. However, going forward with a mouse away from the computer is also possible. However, if you need to go backward, it is a little more complicated than just using the keyboard. If you are going to use a mouse, you should just use it to move the presentation forward so you do not need to right-click and manually select the slide to go to.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the right arrow button on your keyboard to move the presentation forward.

    • 2

Press the left arrow button on the keyboard to move the presentation backward.

    • 3

Click the left mouse button to move the presentation forward.

    • 4

Click the right mouse button to show the presentation menu. From here you can select "Slides" and go to a specific slide, either backward or forward in the presentation.
