How to Wear Scarves Around Your Neck
Scarves come in many shapes, styles and textures. From short, thin silk ones to long, bulky wool ones, the way a scarf is worn varies by its wearer's preference. Thin ones might be knotted a few times to make a short scarf close to the neck, while longer scarves are sometimes placed on shoulders. The simplest way to wear a scarf is to get one at least a few feet in length and tie a simple knot in it. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Pick a scarf that is appropriate for the season. During winter months, wear thicker and longer scarves; during fall and spring, pick thinner scarves. A scarf that matches your coat or outfit is also best.
-
2
Fold the scarf in half lengthwise.
-
-
3
Line the middle of the scarf up at the back of your neck. Both ends should be at the same length on both sides of your neck.
-
4
Grab both ends of the scarf and tie a loose knot. Tighten the knot and pull it toward your neck, leaving about an inch of room.
-
5
Pull some of the loose fabric over the knot to cover it, if desired.
