How to Convert Movies to the iPad Format
Part of the reason for owning an iPad is to use the device as a portable video player. The backlit display makes watching videos engaging even in low-light settings, such as in a car on a long trip. According to the Apple website, the iPad uses a viewing technology called in-plane switching, which allows viewers to see the display clearly from a 178-degree angle. The iPad and iPad 2 playback video in MOV and MP4 format.
