The most basic way to send your Web pages to Twitter is to simply copy the address and paste it into your Twitter feed. Two more useful options are to include Tweet buttons on your website, or to link your website RSS feed -- Really Simply Syndication -- to your Twitter account using a service such as TwitterFeed. Tweet buttons allow you and visitors to your website to simply click the button to post a Web page to Twitter. Sending your RSS feed to Twitter ensures your Twitter followers see updates to your website as quickly as subscribers to your site.

Log into the Twitter website using your Twitter account. Navigate to the Twitter Resource page. Select the "Tweet Buttons" from the available buttons. Customize the button as desired.

Highlight the HTML code for your Tweet button and copy it to your clipboard by pressing "Control" and "C" on your keyboard.

Create an account at a free service such as Twitterfeed, which will automatically link your RSS feed to your Twitter account. Enter your email address and select a password.

Give a name to your feed and copy your RSS feed link from your website into the fields provided. Twitterfeed will test your RSS feed to ensure it is active.

Select "Twitter" from the list of available services. Then click on the "Authenticate Twitter Using OAuth." You may have to log in to your Twitter account if you are not already logged in on your browser.
