How to Remove the Background from Word 2007

Microsoft Office lets you save files you create in Word and other programs as HTML files so you can use them as part of a Web page. You have several ways to make these pages more eye-catching. One is to set a background, which can be a color or a repeating pattern. One drawback is that backgrounds can make pages and documents harder to read and load more slowly. However, you can easily remove these backgrounds from your Word 2007 document.

Instructions

1. Open a Word document with a background image.

2. Click Page Color in the Page Background group.

3. Select the No Color option to remove the background color from the document.
