How to Find My Texas Representative
The state of Texas has a large population to represent and sends 32 congressional representatives to serve in the United States House of Representatives. While they are all there to work on behalf of the voters of Texas, it is usually best to work directly with the congressional representative assigned to your specific district. Figuring out who is responsible for your area is a relatively straightforward process.

Visit the United States House of Representatives' "Write Your Representative" web page.

Select "Texas" on the location selector.

Enter your zip code in the appropriate box.

Click "Contact My Representative." You will be given a basic contact form in addition to the name of your district and Representative.

Navigate to the Texas State Legislature homepage by following the link provided in the Resources section of this article.

Enter your street address, city name, and zip code.

Select the appropriate response on the drop-down menu. For Representatives, you'll want to select "House."

Fill in the blank forms including your full address, including zip code.
