How to Reinstall a Client
A client for Microsoft Networks is a network component designed for Microsoft Windows Server operating systems. The client makes it possible for you to remotely access files, printers and other shared network resources. If you have removed the client accidentally while troubleshooting an error, you can reinstall the component on your server computer using administrative rights and privileges.

Log in to your server computer using administrative rights.

Click the "Start" menu and choose "Control Panel."

Click "Network Connections."

Locate the icon that represents your server network connection. Right-click and choose "Properties."

Click the "Install" button. Next, click "Client."

Click "Add."

Click to select "Client for Microsoft Networks."

Click "OK" to reinstall the client component.
