How to Cancel Your Clearwire Contract

Clearwire is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) that provides wireless broadband connections using 4G wireless technology. The company was founded in 2003 in Washington and services the United States, Mexico, Spain, Belgium and Denmark. Subscribers of Clearwire signup up for a one or two year contract to receive discounted monthly rates. If the contract is cancelled before the term is up, an early termination fee is applied.

Instructions

1. Call Clearwire's Customer Service Department at 1-888-888-3113.

2. Give the Clearwire representative your account information and notify them of what services you would like to cancel.

3. Pay the early termination fee determined by your contract. An early termination fee applies to any customer that terminates their services before the date specified in their contract. The early termination fee is specified on the contract and is determined based on the services you have.

4. Check your email for the cancellation confirmation from Clearwire. This email contains instructions on any further actions you must take including sending back any equipment.

5. Mail back equipment. Use the electronic, prepaid mailing label to return the equipment. If you fail to return the equipment, you may also be subject to a "Equipment Non-Return Fee" that is established by Clearwire.

Tips & Warnings

• No early termination fee is applied if you cancel your services within 30 days of initially signing up.
