How to Remove IE8 History

Launch Internet Explorer 8 by clicking on its shortcut in your Windows Start Menu.

Click on the "Safety" button at the top right of the Internet Explorer window.

Select the "Delete browsing history" option.

Select the items you want to delete from the Internet Explorer 8 history by clicking on their check boxes. You can choose from the following items: the temporary Internet files, the cookies, the Web page history and the saved form data and passwords.

Click on the "Preserve Favorites website data" check box to prevent Internet Explorer from deleting items linked to websites that are in your Favorites folder.

Click on the "Delete" button to start the deletion process.
