1
Circle a date on the calendar for this tea party. Take into account any special days or holidays ahead of time so that everyone should be able to make it. Although a few people may not be able to attend, if the majority can come and the date works for you, proceed with your planning.
-
2
Let the little girl design and decorate the invitations. She can decorate the invitation by coloring a tea cup or pasting a picture on the front to show her creativity. Include the location, time and attire. It is perfectly fine to ask for an RSVP to plan the tea party more efficiently.

3
Send the invitations at least two weeks in advance. This gives the parents enough time to schedule that time and for the girls to build excitement for the tea party.
-
4
Make an itinerary of how the day will go. You may decide to start with tea and snacks or instead with some games for the girls to play. Make-up and dress-up games are ideal for a tea party. Keep the party magical by not being too long or difficult. An hour is sufficient time for the girls to be entertained.
-
5
Order any food that will be bought for the party. If it is more economical, try to make most of the food yourself. Plan to serve different flavors of tea. You may have cold tea for the girls and hot tea for the adults, or both. As for the food, small desserts and cookies can be decorated to match the theme. Fruits, cheeses and finger sandwiches will work as well.
-
6
Have the girls decorate goodie bags at the end of the party. Fill them with packaged snack cakes along with some souvenirs such as lip gloss and nail polish.
