How to Organize Photos in Albums for the iPod
Apple's iPod line of MP3 players allows you to take your digital picture files with you on the go, turning the device into a portable digital picture album. If you want to arrange the pictures stored on the device into albums, you can do so with the iTunes media management application in a few simple steps.

Right-click on the computer's desktop and select the "New Folder" option from the context menu. Name the new folder "iPod Photos."

Double-click the folder you created in Step 1 to open it. Inside the folder, right-click and select the "New Folder" option. Type a name for the folder in the space provided. This will be your first photo album.

Repeat Step 2 for any other photo albums you want to create. Make sure all of the folders are inside the "iPod Photos" folder.

Drag the photos stored on the iPod or computer hard drive into the appropriate album in the "iPod Photos" folder. Once you have your photos placed in their rightful albums, move on to Step 5.

Connect the iPod to the computer via the USB connection cable that came with the device. If the iTunes application does not launch automatically, double-click the iTunes icon to launch the application.

Click the iPod beneath the "Devices" heading. Click the "Photos" tab to view the photo sync options. Place a checkmark next to the "Sync Photos From" option and select the "iPod Photos" album you created in Step 1 from the drop-down menu.

Select the "All Folders" option and click the "Sync" button to sync the photo albums you created in Steps 2 through 4 with the iPod. Allow several minutes for the sync process to finish. Now, all of the photos will be arranged in albums on the iPod.
