How to Delete MyStart Search

The MyStart Search homepage replaces your current homepage when you install IncrediMail. IncrediMail's homepage searches the Web with Google search and contains other features designed to make your Web surfing easier and more convenient. If you prefer to select your own search page, you can change it to the website of your choice within your browser's settings.

Instructions

Internet Explorer 8

1. Select "Start," then "Internet Explorer."

2. Enter the page you want for your homepage in the address bar or select it from your favorites. The Web page opens in Internet Explorer.

3. Select the arrow next to the "Home" icon at the top of your browser window. Select "Add or Change Home Page."

4. Select "Use this webpage as your only home page." Click "Yes."

5. Click the "Home" icon to verify that Internet Explorer successfully changed your homepage.

Firefox 4

1. Open Firefox.

2. Enter the Web address of your desired homepage into the address bar and press "Enter." Alternatively, open the page from your Firefox bookmarks.

3. Click "Tools," then "Options."

4. Under "Homepage" in the "General" section, click "Use Current Pages." Click "OK."

5. In IncrediMail, select "Tools," then "Options." Under "Security," remove the check from "Notify me about changes in my homepage settings."

Google Chrome

1. Open the Chrome browser.

2. Select "Tools" (the wrench button to the right of Chrome's address bar). Select "Options" in Windows, "Settings" in Chrome OS, or "Preferences" on a Mac.

3. Click "Basics." Click "Open this page:" and enter the Web address of your desired homepage.
