Canon ImageRunner 2200 Operating Instructions

The Canon ImageRunner 2200 is a 22-page per minute digital copier. You can configure it as a stand-alone copier, a network printer, network fax machine and a scanner, making the 2200 a full multi-functional machine. When you use it as a copier, the device has many features, including reduction and enlargement, two-sided copying and collating. When you configure it with an optional finisher, the 2200 can also staple completed sets of documents for easier distribution.

      Add paper to one or both of the paper trays. Each tray of the 2200 can hold up to 500 sheets of paper. Each tray is user-adjustable and can hold paper sizes from letter size up to ledger size. The 2200 must have the same sized paper in one of its trays as the paper size of the documents you are copying.

      Insert the documents you wish to copy face up into the automatic document feeder. The automatic document feeder on the 2200 can hold up to 50 sheets of letter-sized paper.

      Enter the number of copies or sets you need using the numeric keypad located on the front panel of the copies. The 2200 can make up 999 copies or sets of your documents.

      Enter in any copy settings that you need on the printer touch screen panel. The touch screen panel of the 2200 has the most commonly used copy features set up as one-touch buttons. Press the copy feature you want and it will become highlighted, indicating that you have selected he feature for the current copy job.

      Press the green "Start" button. The 2200 will begin to scan in the documents in the automatic document feeder and will make the desired number of copies with the settings you selected. When the copy job completes, the 2200 will beep twice.
