How to Cut Yellow Pepper
Bell peppers are a colorful addition to a vegetable tray and add sweetness to soups and salads. Different colors of bell pepper indicate different stages of ripeness. A red pepper is more mature and sweeter and milder in taste than a green bell pepper, and it contains 11 times the beta-carotene. Cut yellow peppers on a cutting board using a sharp knife. Start by standing the pepper up on the board and cutting around the stem in a circle to remove it. Then proceed to cut the yellow pepper as needed for your dish. Does this Spark an idea?

Cut the yellow bell pepper in half and stuff it with cooked rice or other fillings. Stand the bell pepper upright on the cutting board and cut down along the pepper's ribs. Do this by starting on one side, cutting down toward the board, turning the pepper over and cutting down along the rib on the other side. Alternatively, you can turn the pepper upside down so the hole where the stem was is on the bottom. Cut the pepper in half using one motion by placing the length of the knife in the center of the pepper and cutting downward.

Cut the yellow bell pepper into strips and place the strips on a vegetable tray with dip. To create strips, cut the pepper in half as indicated in step 1. Lay each half flat with the cut side facing up. Slide the knife from top to bottom along each rib to create sections, then further slice the sections using the same top to bottom motion with your knife.

Cut the yellow bell pepper into chunks and place the pieces into a food processor with other ingredients to make soup. To create chunks, cut the bell pepper into sections as outlined in step 2, but stop short of making strips. When you have sections approximately 1 inch wide, turn the sections 90 degrees and cut them one at a time into 1-inch square pieces.

Cut the yellow bell pepper into small pieces to put into a stir-fry or salad. Cut the pepper into strips as outlined in step 2. Gather several strips together and cut them into 1/4-inch pieces by repeatedly cutting the ends off the strips until the strips are completely chopped.
