How to Block a Hotmail Contact

Hotmail is a free Web-based email service that allows you to compose, send and receive messages. If you are frequently getting unwanted emails from a particular contact, you can block that contact from your Hotmail account. Hotmail features an option that allows you to immediately block a contact by using that contact's email address.

      Log in to your Hotmail account.

      Click "Options" on the top right-side of your Hotmail account. Next, click "More Options" on the drop-down menu.

      Click the option labeled "Safe and blocked senders" under the "Prevent Junk Email" section.

      Click "Blocked Senders" on the following page.

      Enter the email address of the Hotmail contact that you want to block into the "Blocked email address or domain" field.

      Click the button labeled "Add to list" to block the Hotmail contact.
