How to Change a Texas DL Address
You must have a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in all states, including Texas. As required by the state, your driver's license must include your current address, name and date of birth. When relocating, notify the state of the new address within 30 days. To change the address on your Texas driver's license, you must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid class "C" driver's license. Individuals with expired licenses must visit the Texas DMV in person to request any changes.
