How to Preach the Gospel at Home to My Family in the Evening
Preaching the gospel is an important calling, whether you seek to pastor a church or to teach small Bible studies in your home. Teaching your family the gospel is very important because they are the closest people to you. They need to understand what you believe and why and how believing and practicing the same can help them live a better life.

1
First you must get clear on what you believe. Decide what direction you will take when sharing the gospel with your family. For example, do you want to stress the condemnation that comes with not doing the right thing? Do you want to describe how your family can be their best and reach inward to their deep spiritual place in order to help themselves and others? Develop clear ideas for your lessons.

2
Develop ways of teaching the gospel to your family. It could be by watching Christian films or listening to Christian music and then leading a discussion; having Bible studies (for which you will have to prepare ahead of time); or it could be through creative means, such as religious drawings that you discuss with your family after they are finished.

Make encouraging, God-filled conversation part of your daily life in addition to active Bible study times. For example, when you drop your children off at school, remind them before they exit the vehicle that they are blessed and that God is with them today. Improving the tone in your home and making it more uplifting and encouraging, rather than judgmental and disapproving, can stress the positive aspects of God's love and the need to study the Bible regularly. It will cement the family's time together when you preach the gospel to them.

End gospel preaching sessions with an encouraging prayer to help your family stay strong. For example, you can refer to Psalm 91 and say something such as the following: "You promised us in Psalm 91 that You will give Your angels charge over us and that no evil would come near our household. So I thank You that my family is supernaturally protected and You are watching and guiding them. You said that You will surround us with favor. So I thank You that my family is blessed and that they will excel at whatever they decide to do." Such prayers will encourage your family to study themselves and stay on a positive path until the next preaching session.
