How to Activate a Toolbar
Thousands of computer programs have toolbars, but you can activate most of them using the same procedure. Internet Explorer is a good example because it is the default Web browser on Microsoft Windows operating systems. With three or four clicks, you can open toolbars including Links, Favorites and Menu. With some programs, additional toolbars can be downloaded as add-ons from the Internet.

Click "Tools" on the bar above the program window. This will bring up a menu.

Click "Toolbars" on the menu.

Select the toolbars you wish to display in your program. Unselect toolbars you wish to remove from the display.
