How to Change My Facebook Status on My Mobile Phone
Facebook status updates are a useful way to keep friends and contacts updated with what's happening in your life. Noteworthy events can occur at any time, and you may not always be near a computer when you need to change your Facebook status. Users with a smartphone can access the Facebook Mobile application to update their status. However, there's an easy way to update your Facebook status from most cellphones. Sign up for a dedicated upload email address with Facebook and you can update your status by sending an email from your cellphone.

Tips & Warnings
Upload videos and photos from your cellphone to Facebook using the same process but attach the multimedia file to the email. Facebook uses the text in the subject line of emails with multimedia attachments to caption the photo or video rather than as a status update.
