How to Unsubscribe From Time Warner Internet

Time Warner is a digital cable, voice and Internet provider. They provide Road Runner home Internet service and Road Runner with PowerBoost. Road Runner does not require you to sign a contract to enroll, but if you are currently locked into a price guarantee, you must pay a fee when you cancel.

Instructions

1. Call Time Warner at 800-756-7956. You will need to have your name, address, account or social security number and your PIN number. If you do not know your PIN, they will ask you what the answer to your secret question is. Only the account holder may cancel service.

2. Inform the customer service representative that you want to cancel your service. They may ask you why and offer discounts in exchange for remaining with the company. If you really want to cancel, be firm and tell them you want to cancel and refuse their offers.

3. Return any equipment to your local Time Warner office. They will not turn off your service until they receive the equipment. You will be responsible for charges for service until you return the product in person or mail it to the appropriate office for your location.
