Twitter is a popular social networking platform that allows members to announce what they are doing. These status updates, known as "tweets," are viewed by people who have elected to receive tweets from the member. As you begin to use Twitter more frequently, you may find that there are times when it would be helpful to be able to schedule a tweet to be posted at a later time. Although this feature is not built into the Twitter website, the task can still be accomplished by using a Twitter companion known as SocialOomph.

Select when the tweet will be posted. There are three options to choose from. You can choose to publish your tweet immediately, to publish it on a specific date and time or choose to post the tweet in a specific number of hours (or minutes) from the present moment. Select the option that suits your needs, based on when you would like the tweet to be posted on your Twitter account.

Click the "Save" button. Your tweet will be scheduled according to the settings you selected. You can edit the tweet or the posting time at any point prior to the time it is posted to your Twitter account.
