How to Make Natural Wheat Beer
Beer is usually made with a flower known as hops that is grown on bushes and trees, as well as barley. However, beer can also be made with other grains and materials such as wheat to add flavor and depth. Making a natural wheat beer can be done right at home as long as you have all of the materials that are needed to do so. Things You'll Need
- Large pan
- Bleach
- Heat source
- Natural liquid wheat malt extract
- Muslin bag
- One ounce hops
- Fermenter
- Two cups priming sugar

Sterilize the pans, lids and sealers as well as any other instruments you are going to use by adding one ounce of bleach with enough water to cover all of these apparatuses in a pot. Let it boil for 10 to 20 minutes or until the smell of bleach is no longer apparent. Remove the apparatuses and let them air dry in a clean area.

Boil two gallons of water in a large pot.

Place three pounds of natural wheat liquid malt extract into a muslin bag.

Steep the muslin bag in the boiling water for 20 minutes.

Remove the muslin bag from the water and discard.

Stir in malt extract and return the mixture to the heat and bring it back to a boil.

Add one ounce of hops to the boiling mixture and allow it to boil for one hour.

Place three gallons of cool water into your fermenter and add the hot mixture.

Allow the mixture in the fermenter to cool until it is below 80F.

Add 300mg of yeast to the mixture and seal the container. Ferment for two weeks.

Add priming sugar to the mixture and let it sit for an additional two weeks. This will carbonate the beverage. After the two weeks, the mixture can be served.
