How to Increase Your MLM Leads

Business cards are a low-cost way of marketing your MLM product or service.

Multi-level marketing (or MLM) is also called network marketing. MLM products and services are sold to the public through a network of distributors or sales associates. Sales leads are vital to any successful MLM business. Leads are the names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of people who may want what you're selling. The more people who know about your MLM product or service, the more chances you have to make money. So, increasing your leads may also increase your bank account balance.

1. Get referrals from people you know. Ask your friends, family, relatives and co-workers for the names of people they know who might be interested in your MLM product or service. Make sure you get the phone numbers and email addresses of those referrals.

2. Pass out business cards, postcards, fliers and brochures. Distribute these marketing materials among your family, friends, relatives and co-workers. Place them in businesses and stores you frequent. Post them on college campuses as well. Make sure you include your contact information on all your marketing items.

3. Create a website for your MLM product or service. Add an opt-in form to the website. Visitors fill out the form when they want additional information about your MLM product or service. Opt-in forms are available through several email services.

4. Write articles about your MLM product or service. Highlight the features and benefits of your product or service. Submit the article to an article directory like goarticles.com. The article directories provide a signature box that appears at the bottom of the article. In the box, you write a brief biography about yourself and a link to your website.

5. Post videos to social networking sites. Create a one-to-two-minute video about your MLM product or service. Post the video on YouTube.com, Facebook.com and Twitter.com. Include a link to your website.
