How to Score High in "Cube Crash"

The browser game "Cube Crash" features rows of colored blocks, and you click sets of three or more adjacent blocks of the same color to remove them from the board. You must clear a specified number of blocks on each level to proceed to the next. You receive points for each set of blocks you clear, with the point values increasing exponentially for each additional block included in your match. To get a high score of 80,000 points or more, you'll have to proceed through several levels of "Cube Crash."

Instructions

    • 1

Clear any matches worth 5,000 points or more whenever they appear on the board.

    • 2

Examine the game board and look for the color that has the most matches and the fewest clusters of only one or two blocks.

    • 3

Remove all of the matches of your chosen color from the board, working from the top to the bottom. Clear any matches of that color that may form higher up on the board when you remove the lower matches.

    • 4

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for each remaining color, clearing as many blocks as possible for one color at a time.

    • 5

Make any remaining matches from the blocks left on the board, concentrating on blocks on the top and left and right edges of the playing area.

Tips & Warnings

  • By eliminating one color at a time, you set up the board for a very large match of the final color that may be worth 10,000 points or more. This is easier to achieve on the first five levels, which have only three block colors.

  • The game board holds a total of 156 blocks. Subtract the level goal from this number to determine the maximum number of blocks you can leave on the board and still pass the level.

  • Avoid tunneling down too deeply in the center of the board, as you'll create a gap between the columns of blocks that makes it more difficult to form matches with the blocks on either side of the empty space.
