Easy Way to Melt Used Wax in Candle Holders
Candles provide an atmosphere of peace, relaxation and romance. When many candles have been burned in a holder, a residue of wax is often left behind that can be difficult to remove. You can try chipping and scrubbing it off, but there is a much easier way. Remove the wax by melting it off using a pot of hot water and paper towels. Does this Spark an idea?

Heat a pot of water on a stovetop. The water should be very hot, but not boiling as the thermal shock may crack some candle holders.

Hold the end of the candle holder in the hot water. If the candle holder is made of metal, use a pot holder to protect your hand from conducted heat.

Keep the candle holder in the hot water for one minute to begin melting the wax.

Remove the candle holder from the water and wipe off the melted wax with a paper towel.

Repeat the process as needed to melt all of the wax.
