      Open Windows Movie Maker on your computer. This is located in ''All Programs,'' on the start bar.

      Select the image and music files required to be added into the slide show. Multiple files can be selected by left-clicking on the mouse while holding down the ''Ctrl'' button. Drag the files into the ''Collections'' within Windows Movie Maker.

      Drag the images from the ''Collections'' into the ''Timeline'' below in the desired order.

      Alter the transitions between slides by right-clicking on each image in the ''Timeline'' and selecting ''Video Effects,'' which include ''Fade In'' and ''Fade Out'' from either black or white, all effects suitable for a memorial slide show.

      Drag music files from the ''Collections'' into the ''Timeline'' in the desired order and at the desired time. Music selection could be a selection of the favorite songs of the deceased.

      Edit the slide show by changing the duration of photo clips to fit in with the music. This can be done by clicking on the individual photo and dragging to the desired location.
