DIY Brush Finish Aluminum
A brushed metal finish is popular in many homes. Door knobs, drawer pulls, light fixtures, faucets and even window blinds are purchased in similar brushed finishes. However, aluminum is not usually available in these types of finishes. You can create a DIY brush finish look on the aluminum in your home with spray paint. Spray paint comes in many different metallic finishes and is easy to apply. The trick to a perfect spray paint job is light layers of paint. Do not apply one heavy layer. Instead, apply the paint in two or three really light layers. The paint is less likely to drip or run and will last longer. Does this Spark an idea?
