How to Search How Old Someone Is
The Internet is home to a wide range of research and background-check services that can help you pin down someone's age. The more you know about your subject, the better your odds of finding his age online. Many people-search sites will include lists of relatives, as well as a person's other names or aliases and past cities of residence. Knowing such details can help you determine if you're on the right track with a subject you're researching, particularly if he has a common name.
Instructions
-
Intelius
-
1
Visit the Intelius website. Type in the person's first and last names in the search windows. Ideally, you'll include his city and state as well.
-
2
Click on the "Search" button.
-
-
3
Look through your search's results. The person's age, if it's available, will be listed directly to the right of his name.
-
4
Refine your search further. If the person you're researching has a common name, Intelius will tell you there are too many possible individuals to list. Narrow your search by specifying additional details, perhaps inputting other cities and states in which the person has lived.
iSearch
-
5
Visit iSearch if Intelius doesn't offer an age next to your research subject's name. Type in the person's first and last names and her city and state of residence into the search windows.
-
6
Click on the "iSearch" button.
-
7
Sift through the results, which will appear with the person's age listed last, to the right of her name, after her city, state and gender information.
PeopleFinders
-
8
Visit the PeopleFinders website if iSearch and Intelius lack age details on your subject. Type in the person's first and last names, and at least his state of residence, into the search windows.
-
9
Click on the "Search" button.
-
10
Look through your search's results. The person's age, if it's available, will appear directly below the person's name in parentheses.
ZabaSearch
-
11
Visit ZabaSearch if other websites fail to include your research subject's age. Type in the person's first and last names in the search windows, and choose a state from the menu.
-
12
Click on the "Free People Search" option.
-
13
Filter through the names, which will appear ordered alphabetically by the person's city of residence. The person's birth month and year, if available, will appear just to the right of his name.

Tips & Warnings
You should be able to track down someone's age through at least one free website, but other search services offer background details for a charge. If your free research turns up no ages, consider fee-based data brokers such as ChoicePoint and Accurint. Another fee-based background checker, ProQuest, charges for its services, but is usually free through libraries for patrons who have library cards.
