The Dell Photo Printer 720 provides quality prints of text images for home users who do not need a high-volume printer. Although Dell designed and manufactured the printer well before the release of Windows 7, the unit is compatible with the new operating system when using the Windows Vista driver. If you no longer have access to the driver disc that accompanied your Dell 720 printer, you can download the latest Vista driver from the Dell Support website. Installing the printer using the downloaded driver software is not too different from using the installation CD.
