How to Groom a Pomeranian Dog
Pomeranian dogs are among the most beautiful dogs, known to frequently inhabit handbags on the Upper East Side and prized for their companionship worldwide. If you have such a dog, be sure to care for it properly, and groom it to the best of your ability. Pomeranians are extremely fluffy, so be sure to keep their coats neat through proper bathing and upkeep.

Wash your Pomeranian, without getting water or soap in its eyes, ears, or nose. If necessary, use cotton balls to clean hard-to-reach places, such as the ears, without inundating them with water.

Towel-dry your Pomeranian, then blow-dry its hair, using care to use a low-heat setting and hold the dryer away from his body to avoid overheating the dog or drying its skin.

Trim the dog's ears. Pinch the leather of his ears to avoid cutting the actual ears. The scissors should be held at a slightly tilted angle, parallel to the dog's eyes.

Trim the hair around the Pomeranian's head so that the head takes on a circular shape. Avoid acting overly anxious or excited, as that will agitate the dog and make it more difficult to groom.
