How to Copy & Paste JPG Files
You can copy JPGs in two ways. You can copy the actual JPG file, which allows you to easily copy the file from one location to another. However, this method does not allow you to paste the JPG into other programs. You can also copy the JPG image, which allows you to paste the image in programs that support images, such as Photoshop, Paint or Word. However, this method does not allow you to copy the actual file.

Click the "Start" button and select "Computer" to launch Windows Explorer.

Navigate to the JPG files you want to copy.

Hold the "Ctrl" key and click each of the JPG files you want to copy.

Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "C" to copy the JPG files.

Navigate in Windows Explorer to the location you want to paste the JPG files.

Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "V" to paste your JPG files.
Copy JPG Image

Double-click the JPG image you want to copy from Windows Explorer to view it. Alternatively, navigate to an online JPG image in your Web browser.

Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "C" to copy the JPG image from your viewer. Alternatively, right-click the JPG image from your browser and select "Copy Image" or "Copy Picture."

Open the program into which you want to paste the JPG. This could be any program that supports images.

Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "V" to paste the JPG image into the new program.
