How to Run a Speed Test With Firebug

Firebug is a tool for Mozilla Firefox that lets Web developers inspect the code elements of a website. By editing the temporary code, a developer can also see what the site would like if changes were made to the code. Firebug is available with an add-on called Page Speed that allows you to check a website's performance. Once you download the Page Speed add-on, running a test is simple.

Instructions

Open Mozilla Firefox. Navigate to code.google.com and search for "Page Speed." Click "Install for Firefox." Click "Install File." Navigate to the website on which you want to run a speed test.
