Find out who un-followed you on Twitter with Qwitter.

When you join Twitter, you have the opportunity to make connections, start conversations and keep up with the latest news and trends. To stay connected and interact with other users, you choose to follow them, and ideally they in turn choose to follow you. When your number of followers drops, determining who "un-followed" you means sifting through each user and trying to figure out who's missing. Qwitter makes this process easier -- once you subscribe to the Qwitter service, it informs you by email each time someone stops following you.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit the Qwitter website (see Resources).

    • 2

Type your username in the Twitter Name box.

    • 3

Type your email address in the Email Address box.

    • 4

Click "Join Qwitter." Click "No Thanks, Continue With Basic Signup" if prompted.

    • 5

Check the email account you've typed into the Email Address box. Qwitter sends you a message so that you can activate your account.

    • 6

Click the activation link in the Qwitter email. The service now keeps track of your followers and notifies you by email when someone stops following you.

Tips & Warnings

  • The Qwitter website states that it may take up to 24 hours to begin receiving notices.

  • To cancel your Qwitter subscription, open an email from the service and click the "Unsubscribe" link. Qwitter purges your account within six hours.
