How to Freeze Raw Eggs With Lemon Juice
A typical carton of eggs stored in the refrigerator will generally have a shelf life of 4 to 5 weeks. However, that time begins the moment the chickens lay those eggs. To elongate the life of a bunch of eggs you've purchased in bulk, or just to make sure you always have eggs on hand, consider using the freezer to help you with your storage needs. Things You'll Need
- Individual or compartmented storage containers
- Citrus juicer
- Tablespoon

Crack open all the eggs you plan to freeze, placing each egg in a small, airtight, plastic storage container.

Squeeze 1 lemon for every 4 eggs you plan to freeze. Use a citrus juicer to help you get all the juice out of each lemon.

Pour 1 tbsp. of lemon juice onto each raw egg. The lemon juice will prevent the eggs becoming gelatinous and overly thick over time in the freezer.

Replace the lids on the storage containers, making sure they close securely with a snug, airtight seal. Store in the freezer for up to 9 months.
