Adobe Photoshop is most often thought of as a photo-editing tool because of its many power tools and features that let users edit an image. However, Photoshop can be used for many other purposes, including animation and making Web page layouts. If you want to use the tools of Photoshop to add clickable links to the company logo you have placed on your Web page design, the process is actually fairly simple and quick.

Open Photoshop. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that appears, locate the Web page file you have been working on and open it.

Select the "Slice" tool from the toolbar and use it divide the Web page into logical sections, such as the banner and the navigation buttons. In particular, create a slice around the logo.

Right-click on the slice containing the logo. From the options that appear, click "Edit Slice Options." The dialog will open.

Type in the "URL" entry the URL address that you want the logo to link to when it is clicked by a visitor. Click "OK" to close the dialog.

Save your work. You can now use the "Save for Web" function to save your Web page document with the logo link.
