How to Get Pictures From My Camera to Pull Up on My Computer
After photographing with your new digital camera, you need to transfer your images to a computer to allow you to view, edit and store your work. One method includes transfer by Universal Serial Bus interface cable. This cable connects the personal computer with the camera's electronics. The camera manufacturer provides transfer software that you install prior to transferring your images. Another method for transferring images includes removing the camera's memory card or media card and inserting it into a digital media reader connected to the computer's USB port.

Tips & Warnings
For each photo session, label each folder of images. Do not move every image you have taken during a series of sessions into one folder.
When transferring images by cable, the camera should have fully charged batteries to avoid any interruption. You can opt for an AC adapter kit.
Some computers include a variety of card slots attached to the front. You can insert the media card directly into the appropriate card slot without a digital media card reader.
Be careful when you insert or remove the cables or memory cards.
