Slimline Dish Installation
The DirecTV Slimline satellite dish antenna is designed with three LNB (low-noise blocking) modules to allow it to receive satellite programming signals from the three different DirecTV satellites at the same time. This ability allows the subscriber with the Slimline dish the potential to receive more channels of programming than from dishes that only have one LNB module. The process of installing a DirecTV Slimline dish antenna is fairly straightforward.

1
Screw the four metal or wood screw into the pre-drilled hole at the base of the mast pole. The mounting location for the Slimline dish antenna mast needs to have an unobstructed view of the southern sky.
-
2
Place the dish assembly onto the top of the mast. Align the opening in the mast clamp on the back of the assembly with the top of the mast pole. Gently press the assembly down until you feel a slight snap into place. Tighten the screw on the mast clamp to secure the assembly to the mast.
