How to Add More Music to a Burned CD

Save

If you have created an audio CD with a CD-RW, you can add more songs to the disc at a later date if you wish. Compact disc-rewriteables (CD-RWs) are discs that can be rewritten when you want, rather than be restricted to single writes, like you are with a CD-R. When you insert an already written CD-RW into your computer, it acts as both a CD and a CR-RW. If you want to add more songs, you can burn the extra tracks.

  • Insert your CD-RW into your computer. Close the Autoplay dialog when it appears.

  • Click "Start," "Programs" and "Windows Media Player."

  • Click "Burn."

  • Click and drag the songs you want to burn into the burn list.

  • Click "Burn to disc."
