How do I Create Free Printable Student Achievement Awards?

Recognize your students for their accomplishments.

Praise your students with special awards for each of their achievements throughout the year. You can create printable awards using your computer and printer without spending a penny. Customize the design with clip art and decorations, along with personalization to make each award look official.

Things You'll Need

• Word processing software
• Printer
• High-quality paper

Instructions

1. Open a blank document, in letter size, using any word-processing software such as Microsoft Works Word Processor or Microsoft Word.

2. Select a size, style and color for the font. Type a title at the top of the document that highlights the student's achievement in large, bold letters.

3. Choose a smaller text and perhaps a different color, then type "This Award is presented to:" or "We Present this Award To" under the title.

4. Add clip art or decorations to the award using the clip art tool or drawing tools available in your software. Draw stars, confetti or a decoration specific to the achievement such as an A+ for a perfect test or a goal for a score made during gym class.

5. Place high-quality paper into the printer. Select the printer icon at the top of your software. Choose how many certificates you want to print and click "OK" to print the achievement awards.
