How to Install Adobe Media Player 1.5
Adobe Media Player 1.5 is a video and media viewing program released by the Adobe Corporation in November 2008. The Media Player is a freeware program that was produced for use with Windows Vista, Windows XP and Mac operating systems. Although Adobe no longer provides downloads or support for Media Player 1.5, you can still download the installation program from a third-party software website and use it on your computer.

Verify that your computer is capable of running the Adobe Media Player 1.5 program. If you're using a Windows computer you must run Windows XP or Vista on a computer with at least a gigabyte of RAM, 64 megabytes of video RAM and a 2.33 gigahertz processor. To use Media Player 1.5 on a Mac, you will need the OS X or later operating system, 1 gigabyte of RAM and 64 megabytes of video RAM. Mac PowerPC users must have a 1.8 gigahertz processor, while Mac Intel users require a 1.33 gigahertz processor.

Download a copy of Adobe Media Player 1.5. Adobe ceased support Adobe Media Player as of December 2010, so you'll need to download the player's installation file from a third party software website.

Navigate to the directory that contains the downloaded installation file. Double-click the file to start the installation wizard.

Read the Adobe Media Player Terms of Service and continue if you agree with the terms.

Follow the on-screen prompts to install Adobe Media Player 1.5 to your computer.
