How to Measure for a Power Balance Performance Bracelet

Save

The Power Balance Performance Bracelet is a silicone band that contains a hologram. Designed for sports and fitness, the manufacturer claims that the bracelet works with the natural energy field in your body to help restore energy, strength, flexibility and balance. Any bracelet worn during athletic activity should fit snug around your wrist to prevent it from sliding up and down your arm and interfering with your movement.

Proper Measures

  • The simplest way to measure for a Power Balance Performance Bracelet is to wrap a measuring tape around your wrist in the same spot where you wear a watch. One finger should fit between the tape and your arm. A piece of string and ruler can be used in place of the measuring tape, if necessary.

The Right Fit

  • Compare your wrist measurement to the Power Balance Performance Bracelet sizing chart to determine the proper size. The bracelets come in extra small (6.3 to 6.9 inches), small (6.9 to 7.4 inches), medium (7.4 to 8 inches) and large (over 8 inches).

Considerations

  • The claims made by Power Balance have been controversial among experts in the sports and fitness field. Power Balance Australia stated in 2010 that there is no credible scientific evidence supporting any claims that the Performance Bracelet enhances athletic ability.
