How to Clean a Commercial Wine Bottle

Commercial wine bottles come in varying colors and paper labels. When the wine in the bottle is consumed, the bottle can be recycled so it can be used to store homemade wine or other liquids such as vinegar. It can also be used as a vase. Before using the wine bottle again, it has to be washed to remove the label and cleaned to make it sanitary. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

      Mix some soap in hot water in a bucket or the kitchen sink.

      Soak the bottle in the water until the water turns cold to the touch.

      Scrub the inside of the wine bottle using a bottle brush.

    • 4

      Peel off the label on the bottle with your hands or by using a dishcloth.

      Rinse the bottle thoroughly to remove all soap residues.

    • 6

      Dry the bottle in a draining rack.
