How to Check a Web Server IP Address
To access a website, users either follow links from other sites or enter Web addresses by hand into their browsers. Each Web address translates to the Internet protocol (IP) numerical address of the computer (cluster) acting as a server for that website. Normally that translation is invisible to the user, but Web server and network administrators sometimes need to perform explicit translations during configuration or troubleshooting. You can easily check the IP address assigned to a specific Web server.
