Instructions

    • 1

Accent candles holders. Tie a rope twine bow around the center of each candle. Let the tails of the bow hang down far enough to reach the bottom of each candle.

    • 2

Wrap three square blocks of wood in twine and glue in place with a glue gun. Top with a candle.

    • 3

Braid the rope twine to create rustic curtain tie backs. Cut nine lengths of rope twine, twice as long as you want the tie backs. Braid the ribbons together in groups of three, so you have three separate braid strands. Secure the ends with a paper clip or rubber band. Lay the three braids side by side and tie together one end of all three. Braid the three separate strands into a single braid and tie together the other end.

Accent wreaths with rope twine. Wind the rope twine loosely through the greenery in the wreath. Wrap the rope twine around greenery branches frequently, two full revolutions to keep the twine in place. Add pine cones, nuts and twigs to create a rustic fall wreath. Wrap twine around the pine cones and tie them in place. Tuck twigs into the wreath and secure in place with florist wire or tape. Hot glue nuts to the wreath. Attach the nuts in two places so their weight doesn't pull them off the wreath.

Customize a lamp by wrapping the lamp base with rope twine. Do not cover the bottom 1/4 and the top 1/4. Secure the rope twine with hot glue.

    • 6

Wrap mismatched picture frames and mirror frames in rope twine. Glue each end of the twine to the back of the frame or mirror with hot glue.

    • 7

Use rope twine to secure chair cushions to chairs. Attach lengths of twine to the corner of the cushions with safety pins. Pin the safety pins on the bottom corner of the cushions so they don't show. Tie the rope twine around the chair legs. Let the tails hang down by several inches.

Wrap a pretty piece of fabric around the back of a chair and tie it into a bow. Create several rope twine bows slightly smaller than the fabric bow and secure them to the fabric with safety pins. Pin from the back of the fabric and through the knots on the rope twine bows so they are secure and the pins don't show.
