The Motorola Droid is a line of Google Android powered Smartphones sold by Verizon Wireless. As of April 2011, the lineup includes the original Droid, the Droid X and the Droid 2. When the user receives a voicemail, the phone displays a small cassette icon at the top of the screen in the status bar. All three phones can access voicemail through the voicemail icon, or by dialing the voicemail access number directly.
Tap the phone icon on the main screen of the Droid.
Tap and hold the cassette icon. The Droid will dial out to the voicemail box and start playing the messages automatically.
Press "7" on the on-screen dial pad to delete the message.
Tips & Warnings
- You can also access your Droid voicemail by dialing "*86".
- Once a message is deleted, it can't be retrieved. Make sure you want to delete the message.
