How to Boot an Ubuntu Live CD

The Ubuntu Live CD is a fully functional Ubuntu Linux operating system that runs from a CD drive. You can run Ubuntu Linux on any computer with a CD drive, regardless of the operating system installed on the hard drive. Ubuntu Linux is available as a free download from the Ubuntu website (ubuntu.com). To boot into the CD, your computer must be set to boot to the CD drive first rather than the hard drive.
