How to Use Weed Stopper in Flower Beds

Weed Stopper is a herbicide specially formulated for killing weeds. It is manufactured by a company called Monterey and was rebranded "Weed Impede." Just like most herbicides, the chemicals do not discriminate. The chemicals will kill your flowers just as quick as the will kill your weeds. Instructions

    • 1

      Mix the pressurized tank between ½ and ¾ full with water.

      Pour in the recommended about of Weed Stopper chemical per the ratios listed on the packaging. For example, if you have a 2-gallon tank, you will use 3 oz. herbicide.

      Fill the remainder of the container and use the built in agitator to mix up the water and chemicals.

      Place the lid onto the pressurized sprayer and pump the handle to create pressure within the tank.

      Place the tip of the sprayer directly on top of the weeds and spray just enough to wet the leaves of the plant. Avoid overspraying to protect your flowers.
