Instructions

    • 1

Inform your server that you need to heat up your child's baby food. Ask for a soup bowl filled half-way with very hot water. It is important the bowl is not filled too full with hot water as you will be submerging your container of baby food in the bowl and you do not want the hot water to spill over.

    • 2

Place the open baby food container into the bowl of hot water. Make sure the hot water covers a majority of the container but does not spill over into the baby food. This method of warming will take 10 to 20 minutes.

    • 3

Stir the baby food occasionally to ensure it is heating evenly.

    • 4

Remove the baby food container after at least 10 minutes in the hot water. Test the baby food on your wrist to make sure it is the right temperature. Always test baby food before you feed it to your child.

Tips & Warnings

  • Baby food does not have to be served warm . Serving at room temperature is acceptable as well.

  • Place the bowl of hot water in the middle of the table, away from the baby's reach. This water could scold the child causing burns. Heating food in the microwave can cook food unevenly and may cause hot spots.
