- Baking sheet
- Wax or parchment paper
- Plastic wrap
- Airtight container or freezer bag
- Marker or label

Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper.

Place the beans on the paper so that they are lined up and not touching in a single layer.

Cover the sheet with plastic wrap tightly.

Place the baking sheet in the freezer gently and leave it for several hours to allow the beans time to freeze.

Place the frozen pole beans into an airtight plastic container or plastic freezer bag making sure to fill it only three-quarters of the way full to avoid smashing and breaking them.

Label the freezer bag or container with the current date with a marker or attach a homemade label.
