Looking at an appointment calendar can help you remember the day you conceived.

Once you have your positive pregnancy test, you will want to know the baby's due date. Knowing when you conceived can help you determine when the baby will be born. You can figure this out with a conception calculator.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose "last menstrual period" if you are given calculation options.

    • 2

Enter the first day of your last menstrual period into the "Date" field of the calculator.

    • 3

Click the "Calculate" button. Most conception calculators will display the date ovulation occurred and the time frame when conception took place.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also determine the date of conception by subtracting 266 days from the due date.

  • The date of conception is not exact. Sperm can survive for up to five days, so pregnancy can occur several days after intercourse during ovulation.
